Utah Business Names Zarifa USA a 2020 Emerging Business

Zarfia USA is proud to be named an Emerging Business in the Utah Business list of fastest growing companies. Each year, Utah Business recognizes the emerging and fastest growing companies in the state. We are one of only ten emerging companies recognized by the publication.

“We are thrilled to be recognized by Utah Business. With the increasing statistic of 100 million Americans that suffer from chronic pain each year, Zarifa USA aims to assist and provide relief to all we can without the use of addictive substances such as opioids,” says Yama Mustafawi CEO and Founder at Zarifa USA. “Our commitment is to aid this large portion of the population in pain relief through easily accessible products that deliver positive medical results. We aim to support pain sufferers through their difficult times and provide a positive drug-free massage therapy experience.”

After immigrating to the United States from Afghanistan, Mustafawi was able to help sponsor his mother, Zarifa, for a Visa to join him and their family in Utah. At the time, Zarifa suffered from severe back pain, knee pain, and arthritis. Having spent thousands of dollars, hundreds of hours of time, and a massive amount of energy on doctors, medication, chiropractors, and physical therapists Mustafawi went in search of a better way.

Mustafawi purchased his mother massage equipment at home as a gift, to provide her with some relief. He quickly realized the challenges one faced when looking for high-quality, medical grade massage devices, and ran into many scientifically unproven products. Yama made it his own mission to help find and develop the best medical massage equipment possible. He soon left his job in order to dedicate all his time and resources to invest in researching medical devices in Salt Lake City, UT.
